Sutherland Athletic Association is officially a 501 3(c) Booster Club
Checking Account has been opened at Beverly Bank. Tracy and Eric are the signatures on the acct. (Opening balance of $2360)

St. Walter’s registration has been paid.
Kristen will talk with Kelly O’Connor to recruit 7th/8th grade players, as we only have one registrant so far. She also will plug registration & coaching opportunities (U8, U10, U14) thru Facebook via Laurie Cleary.
Maroon T-shirts & maroon socks need to be ordered for each player. Tracy is looking for a faster vendor than Windy City. She will contact Dan Duffy about screen-printing t-shirts. We would like to keep cost under $15/uniform.
Other supplies needed: medical kits, bags, balls (sizes 3, 4, and 5), cones and flags. Eric will check school stock & with Mr. Steinmiller for last year’s gear and place order with Palos Sports as needed.

Coaches meeting, Monday August 31st 6:30pm @ Sutherland

Kristen will communicate with the school office so Ms. Pickett will be aware of incoming forms, registration dates, how to direct questions, etc.

Sutherland still holds approximately $6500 in basketball fees. Eric will wait tomorrow for a check to be cut and then deposit along with soccer fees he has. The remaining basketball league registration fees can then be paid out next week.

Students who have transferred but paid for girls basketball can request a refund (minus any unpaid uniform cost).

Back to School Bash
Mr. Henderson gave us the layout for the evening’s event.
Our table will have: sign up for soccer, interest sheets for flag football and cross country, coaches’ info, and player emergency cards. Tracy, Christine and Kristen will take turns at the table.

Need to update/expand upon the spectator policy.
Parent sign in at each sport’s parent meeting will serve to show they received all paperwork: student athletic code of conduct, spectator policy, etc.

At approx. 8pm we met with Suzanne Smith to set-up our website. We have requested
She will check for its availability. Our site will allow for online registration and payment, Email for questions/concerns, photos, schedules, etc.
We agreed to the $110 per year cost for the website package, to be renewed annually and the $60/hr (billed in 15 min increments) cost for website updates. All information will be transmitted in Word Document form.
We perused several other websites to find details we liked and gave her examples of what we are looking for.
Website should be ready for CC and flagfootball registration at the end of Sept.
Eric will be the contact for boys and girls basketball.
Kristen will be the contact for boys and girls volleyball.

We adjourned shortly after 9pm.
